Portrait of Cora Aegis — an AI-generated illustration

Portrait: an AI-generated illustration, not a photograph.

I write CypherpunkGuide — privacy-first guidance for people who have decided that being watched by default is not acceptable, and who want practical, tested ways to take that power back.

My starting point is never a coin or a gadget. It is privacy: the right to selectively reveal yourself to the world. Bitcoin matters here because it is one of the few tools that makes financial privacy and censorship resistance real — a means in service of sovereignty, not a headline.

What I cover
#

  • Privacy & OPSEC — threat modeling, metadata, surveillance resistance, and the everyday practices that shrink your attack surface.
  • Self-Custody — Bitcoin held privately and on your own terms, from your first hardware wallet to multisig and CoinJoin.
  • Sovereignty — privacy extended across a whole life: communication, residency, and the quiet infrastructure of independence.
  • Cypherpunk — the philosophy that ties it together, read from the primary sources rather than the slogans.

Why a pen name
#

Cora Aegis is a pseudonym, deliberately. It would be incoherent to teach operational security and surveillance resistance under a legal name harvested by the very data brokers I help you evade. The pseudonym is not a gimmick; it is the first lesson. What I publish stands or falls on the work itself — the threat models, the primary sources, the tools I actually run — not on a résumé.

The portrait above is an AI-generated illustration, not a photograph, and is disclosed as such wherever it appears.
